Stars Amongst the Moon

I went out last night during a clear night sky to try and take some pics of the stars with my new wide angle lens. I knew I'd have some difficulty doing so with the moon being out, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyways.

The photos came out looking like early daytime with stars still in the sky, despite it being around 12:30-1am.

Some lens flare off of the moon, which lit up the night sky like the sun.

The moon was so bright that it actually cast my shadow on the ground.

Apple Orchard

My wife and I got to spend a beautiful afternoon a couple of weeks ago picking apples from a beautiful orchard. This orchard is particularly special to us as we had our engagement photos done here.

I got to take photos of my future Sister-In-Law Haylie for her prom. She was a wonderful model and looked amazing for her prom.

Took a walk for one of the first days of spring here in Ottawa. Quickly taking in the air while doing some chores.

New Equipment Test

I was able to pick up some new equipment to use, and so far they've been great buys. Nikon D750 and 24-70mm f/2.8.

Here are some pics that make me very excited for what I can really do now.

Vancouver 2015

During the autumn of 2015, I got to travel to Vancouver, Canada, for the first time of my life. I was there on business but it allowed me to travel around, see some old friends and family and get to explore. This is just one of those moments.
